About
About Me Link to heading
I am a Senior Research Engineer at Flanders Make in the Production CoreLab, where I focus on advancing research and innovation in intelligent manufacturing and production systems.
Previously, I served as a software engineer at OMP, specializing in the development of software solutions for supply chain planning and optimization.
I earned my Ph.D. in AI Planning and Robotics from IEETA at the University of Aveiro, Portugal. My doctoral research contributed to novel algorithms for knowledge representation, robot learning, and task planning. Prior to this, I completed my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in computer engineering at Qazvin Azad University, Iran.
Following my Ph.D., I conducted postdoctoral research in the Robotics Research Group at KU Leuven (2018–2022). My research focused on artificial intelligence, automated planning, robotics, and robot learning, with an emphasis on integrating AI planning into real robotic systems. This work resulted in the development of advanced techniques and open-source tools for robot programming and planning.
